Paperlove, and what it means to me
Paperlove, a chronic condition that does not
inflict enough people. What is it you ask? Paperlove began as a website
designed by a very good friend. I will not dare to guess his motivation
or reasons for doing so, and to ask would be rude, but the point is he
created a site for handling thoughts. Not just 'blogs' or silly opinions
but real content about whatever. To get a clear picture of Paperlove,
vision a blog site, now remove structure and flow, add creativity and a
high value placed on thinking (and not just opinion ejaculation).
So, with the description out of the way, let me
get on to the point, which according to tradition, is several meters
away from the current topic. I am a Paperlover, and subscriber of the
way of the fungalMonk[?]. I hold
Ideas in great esteem, and am dismayed that people believe ideas are to
be horded like virgins in a barbican. I place things that I write on
Paperlove just so I can share
them with others (go figure, using the Internet to share ideas. How
lame is that? next thing you know, I will want to use the Internet to
learn or something).
I have really only started to notice
the effects of Paperloving, but in time I expect the symptoms to
increase:
